Welcome to this website that aims to provide a number of key resource documents explaining the philosophy, history, development and use of the see-judge-act method developed by Joseph Cardijn and the Young Christian Workers movement.

As will become clear, the method has deep roots going back to St Thomas Aquinas and Aristotle (at least!).

Nor has its development stopped, as illustrated by Pope Francis’ appropriation of the method as part of the Church’s synodal process.
